Abstract

The paper presents views about ADHD syndrome in children that have been reported in recent years. Incidence and difficulties associated with treatment of children with ADHD symptoms indicate that it is a significant problem affecting families and schools. The author presents diagnosis criteria in accordance with ICD-10 International Classification of Diseases, development of clinical symptoms dynamics, discuss educational problems and role of risk factors in prognosis and treatment of the disorder.
