Abstract

Standardised cancer coefficient was analysed in terms of cancers in 1999-2003 in the Podkarpatian Region. The aim of this analysis was evaluation of the factors such as sex, dwelling place and interaction between those factors on the mortality level caused by cancerss. The aforementioned analysis was carried out using the method of analysis of variance. What was found was the statistically significant connection between sex and the mortality and the statistically significant effect caused by interaction between sex and dwelling place.
