Patients’ rights are a special category of human rights and are of increasing importance in the social reality. Patients’ rights are the fundamental legal and ethical standards of practice of doctors, nurses and midwives. Patients’ rights is a team powers for the use of health services. Specific rights belong to the patient in the hospital because it is a basic type of medical facility. It is intended for patients requiring all day health services. This article aims to present and analyze the most important Polish patient rights in the hospital.
