Proposal concerning new coefficients for evaluation of differentiation of body proportion in children operated because of meningomyelocele

Abstract

The aim of this study was a modification of evaluation of differentiation in body proportion of children operated because of meningomyelocele. The proposal takes into consideration two subgroups: children with and without deformations located within knee joints or/and hip joints. Introduction of a new coefficients of proportion was accompanied by their comparison with traditional coefficients of this type. Obtained results of the study have confirmed the fact that application of proposed proportion coefficients is fully possible.
