Abstract

The aim of paper is the analysis of occurrence of urological complication and their costs i patients after stroke. In the study was 420 patients of rehabilitation ward in early phase after stroke (up to 12 weeks from stroke- group 1) and in late phase from falling ill (above 12 weeks after stroke). Urological complications more frequently are observed in group 1 of patients and they were mainly connected with urologic supply. The proper diagnostic procedures and early implementation of sphincter rehabilitation can cause the decreasing of complication number and treatment cost.
