Evaluation of efficacy of therapy with Vojta's method in infants at risk on the basis of neurokinesiological diagnostics and or thopedic examination of hip joints
Abstract
Human Complex nervous-muscular reactions of conjugation enable proper function of joints and dynamic movement of the child with central coordination disturbance observed from birth. In the case of infants with central coordination disturbance, malfunction of joints is conditioned by varying muscle tone. Those infants require therapy using Vojta's method consisting in liberation of reflex locomotion. The efficacy of the therapy, to which 40 infants at risk were subjected, was evaluated using 4- recordings of neurological pediatric state, by means of 7 postural reactions according to Vojta and evaluation of hip joint mobility. After 6 month therapy, it was found that there was normalization of neurological state and movement range of hip joints, measured by goniometry and morphologically by means of USG imaging. Regression of hip joins dysfunction has a cause and effect relation with the normalization of central coordination disturbance in infants
