Influence of rehabilitation treatment on biological- molecular processes soft tissue injury healing
Abstract
The healing process is biological phenomenon, developed during the years of the phylogenetic development. ‘Due to development of the molecular biology it was affirmed that the healing of injured soft tissues is a result of co-operation of many molecular processes contribute to improve effects of treatment and rehabilitation. The main goal of treatment is healing of injury and formation functional scar in the shortest and safest time. Heal of injury occur with replace high-worth and specialistic tissue by low-worth scar tissue. Tendon and ligament tissue are build from collagen. Ability to weight after trauma collagen ackives after 300-500 days. That time can be shorter by using rehabilitation. Proper exercises and physiotherapy gradually increase elasticity and resistance of scare tissue. However even total healing doesn't assure full physiological strength. Rehabilitation is assisting by physiotherapy. Among many different forms of physiotherapies in soft tissue injury cryotherapy is worth attention because of: analgetic, anty‘imflammatory, antyoedema effects.
